final countdown

It’s the final countdown. Two weeks left of school, one legit week of classes consisting of the dreadful week of finals. I must say this week went very smoothly. For once I didn’t have that much work but I still busted my ass to have work done. I studied the usual and got ahead in the classes that I could. I began studying for finals and I feel comfortable where I stand right now in the semester. But yes, I can’t wait until this semester is over and I can finally work and start to pay off more of my car loan so that is gone by next fall, since I’m banking on getting into nursing school.
Now about my thanksgiving break. My break went very well. It consisted of a little bit of school work and a lot of relaxing. Even though I had off from school, I continued to work. I did three days at the sports network, three at giant and I worked with my girlfriend’s dad roofing. That was probably the worst day out of them all because it really is hard work but I enjoy doing it. It is nice to help him out because he busts his ass all the time and the work is actually a workout so I don’t mind it at all.

I have been so tired though. I have been getting up early because I have been playing football over break as well. On thanksgiving, I played in a game of football; tackle of course, with my girlfriend’s brother, Bob and his friends. It was so much fun but I was so tired and sore for days after because all those kids were a few years older then me and much faster and bigger. Also adding to my tiredness, I had work so fucking early at Giant on the weekends that I have literary running on E. So on my last day off, I decided that I was going to sleep over Tiara’s house and wake up and have a banging breakfast. I actually got to sleep in, without the sound of an annoying alarm and had three pieces of French toast, a bunch of mini hash browns, little pile of bacon and a single piece of sausage. It was so good! What a great last morning for sure. Then throughout the day, I got a solid run in and then I just relaxed with the girl and we watched TV and spent quality time together before another week of school came upon us.

I can’t wait until I have only one more of these to record. I am not used to having a daily journal, blog. I actually don’t mind it though. It is good in a way because I like to reflect on my weeks during the school year and this sure has helped me do this.
