football is now over

This past week was a breeze. I had only one test and a quiz, which is shocking because usually I am stuck every week about three tests on average, and or quizzes. I was happy to that my test was in HDFS. That class is super easy but also super boring. When I got that test score back, I was shocked I got a 90. I wasn’t too sure about this test after I took it. It was much harder then I thought but I still studied my ass off as always. Besides that test, I had a quiz in anatomy. This quiz wasn’t too bad. I studied a lot for it but she always throws so many diagrams on her quizzes and test, which make them a lot harder. We still haven’t gotten the grades back but I hear if she likes you then you have a better chance to get an A or at least a higher grade anyway. It doesn’t matter about that though because I have an A anyway. After Tuesday, my week was looking good, I handed in a paper for English and then the rest of the week for me was studying and completing my lab report for chemistry.  Now I was looking forward to Sunday the most, which is tomorrow, why you might ask. FLAG FOOTBALL!

After our games last weekend, and all the final standings came out. We ended up finishing in 8^th place, with a record at 4-6. Even though we are 4-6, we are still a very good team. Some weeks we don’t have all of our players and other times, we just shit the bed. On Sunday, we play at 9:00 vs the dragons. They are 3-7. In the regular season we beat them 33-19. It was a good game but we had them from the start. So Sunday’s game is basically an even matchup. The winner of this game will head to play the number 1 seed, the bar who is 9-1. They only loss one game to F&F. F&F destroyed us. Hopefully we get to play that game at 1 and upset them and make it to the flag football super bowl. Anyway if we don’t, then winning the first game will give our franchise our first ever flag football playoff win. Over the last 3 seasons, we have lost in the first round all 3 times. It was upsetting but this year’s team is looking a lot better then ever before. We just need to play strong defense and not give the ball away on offense like we have been. We must go out there and just bust our asses so we can show the league that this is the Team America they don’t want to play.

Sunday came around and we had our first game. We dominated from the beginning. Our defense was sharp and our offense was explosive. I lead the team with two huge catches, both resulting in a touchdown. The final of game one was 39-19.  A complete blowout. Now we had to wait four hours to play our next opponent. The number one team…. Time pasts and we begin to play. We played a strong first half and were only down 14-13 going into the second half. But as the Bar came out and completely dominated winning the game 26-13. We had two huge chances to score and win the game but we choked and blew it.

Now the season is over but I am glad. It is a lot and the ride isn’t close. Now that the season is over for good, I will be able to work more and pay for my car. I thought over all I played really well this year, both sides of the ball. Currently I am in the running for offense receiver, best hands awards. I hope I win.
